Washing bar launched:

The SGS Group has launched a dish washing bar to go in conjunction with its well known brand of scouring powder, the A-One cleaning powder. The bar was launched in the month of september and the product has been well accepted by the public. The soap bar is sold in the southern states only.

Gift portal launched:

A gift portal called megaindianmall has been launched with a whole range of gifts available. The site will be marketed globally facilitating Non-resident Indians to send gifts to their loved ones in India. There are all kinds of products, from electronic items to small statuettes. The site is user friendly and downloads fast.

SGS has strategic alliance with Dynacoral:

SGS has tied up with Dynacoral of Malaysia to meet various software requirements to develop various projects in the IT industry. Recently it has developed a website to cater exclusively to the requirements in the Chip market. The objective of the site is to reach out to recruiters, job seekers & corporates.The initial plan is to use the website for recruitments in the IC industry and further develop the portal to provide other services too in areas related to IC chip designing.

Garlic imported from China:

In a recent move the SGS Group imported garlic from Korea. Garlic being a universally accepted crop, finds its use in all kinds of dishes. It also has a lot of medicinal purposes. India being a high user of garlic both in the food and medical industry requires to import a certain quantity each year.

Netandhost breaks the 4000 barrier:

Netandhost has reached the landmark target of 4000 clients hosted on its servers. Their servers are all based in Chennai and the company has a 24 hour customer service division that caters to the needs of their clients at any given time.

Supergas signs contract with SGS:

Supergas has signed a contract with the SGS Group to use their infrastructure to fill their gas cylinders. This allows Supergas to utilise the Chennai plant for filling up.
